Frequently Asked Questions

How I Draw

What Program do you Use?

Clip Studio Paint PRO (version 3.x) !
If you’re looking to buy it, wait till it goes on sale (it often goes 50% off several times a year), and buy whichever perpetual license is currently available (at the time of writing this, it’s 3.0). You don’t need the subscription.
However, if you’re looking for a free or entry level program to start doing digital art, I recommend Medibang! I enjoyed it for many years before switching to CSP. If you want something that can handle some light frame-by-frame animation along with illustrations, I recommend FireAlpaca

What Brushes do you Use?

Low Res Pieces:

High Res Pieces:

What Fonts do you Use in your Comics?

I use mostly:

As an aside, BlamBot has many high-quality fonts available for free use for non-profit and indie comic creators (see their limited free-use license info here). I seriously recommend checking them out!

Why do you Use Comic Sans?

Funny :)
More seriously, comic sans is actually a very solid font, which is easy to read for people with dyslexia, and remains readable even at small scales. because of my usual style, most fonts don't read as clearly when at small scales with no anti-aliasing. I've tried many comic-intended fonts, and none are as readable as comic sans in my low-res. So, comic sans!

Requests & Commissions

Do you Take Requests?

Sometimes! I’ll take most anything abt my ocs, and sometimes for fandoms I’m familiar with, though I'm somewhat picky about which I do. Basically, I won’t always do em, but as long as you’re reasonable abt it you’re always welcome to ask ^-^
Though, please send them to my tumblr askbox, not my DMs

Can you Draw (incredibly specific illustration that has no connection to anything you post)?

Not unless you pay me

Do you Take Commissions?

Not currently, no, as I got a job and no longer have the spare time or energy to do commissions- unless you're willing to dish out hundreds of dollars. If you are, then DM me on tumblr and we can talk.
I sometimes open slots for doodle sheets. all other types of commissions are taken and priced on a case-by-case basis. They're priced by me estimating the time and effort they'll take, and using that to decide a flat fee. Typically around the area of 20$USD/hour, though it varies a bit.
Porn and mecha cost extra, and cool furry designs may be elligable for a discount based entirely on my whims (because I like drawing furries)

Etc

What Fandoms are you In?

You can see (most of) them on my tag list page on tumblr! There are a few that are missing that I've only drawn for once or twice, but most of them are there ^-^

Why Haven't you Answered my Ask?

I am very slow and forgetful. I'll get to it. Eventually

Can You cw/tw Tag [x] ?

I try my best to remember common cw tags, and I'm happy to retroactively add tags to posts. That said I can't promise to always tag specific content when I post it, because I genuinely just can't remember all the time.
Also, I will not cw tag the use of the words queer, faggot, dyke, and similar terms. I understand why this may be a problem for some folks, but it's a personal choice on my personal blog. If that's a problem for you, feel free to unfollow and/or block.
